KOVA K-265 . EXTERIOR PAINT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

KOVA EXTERIOR PAINT K-265 is an outdoor Pure Acrylic paint system, which has been completely tropicalized, very suitable for the hot and humid climate of Vietnam. Used for waterproofing and outdoor decoration, suitable for a variety of surfaces of all civil and industrial constructions.

SUPERIOR CHARACTERISTICS

• Good coverage, quick drying, easy to apply.
• Non-flammable, non-toxic, does not contain lead, mercury and other harmful chemicals, safe for construction and use.
• Low VOC content (<50g/liter)

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Pack : 5kg barrel; Carton 25kg
Applicable surface: Exterior surfaces of concrete, mortar, and cement walls after being smoothed with flexible mastic and coated with Exterior Alkali Resistant Primer, or applied directly to the wall CT-11A Plus
Dry Thickness: 40-60µm (for one coat) under normal application conditions
Theoretical norm: 4.0 - 5.0m ² /kg for 02 classes. Depending on construction requirements, surface and construction techniques.

Surface preparation

• New walls: must be allowed to dry and stabilize the structure (minimum 12-15 days) and cleaned of dirt.
• Old wall: must remove grease, moss, paint layers, old lime, then wash thoroughly with clean water and let dry.
• On KOVA CT-11A Plus wall waterproof surface, can be applied directly.
• On the surface of putty or flexible mastic, dust must be cleaned. After that, it is required to cover the Exterior Alkali Resistant Primer.

Construction

Step 1 : Add clean water according to the ratio of mass, temperature and humidity:

• Light color- white: add 5-15% water.
  
• Dark color: add 0-5% water because dark color K-265 paint has higher fluidity than light/white color

Step 2 : Apply 2 coats of K-265 paint. Each class is spaced 3-4 hours apart.
