KOVA CT-14 . SCRATCH WATERPROOF

KOVA CT-14 elastic waterproofing agent (Set of 2 components) has very high elasticity, good adhesion to cement and concrete. Used to seal large cracks, joints or expansion joints. If you want stretch waterproofing for floors or walls, apply a layer of waterproofing CT-11A Floor/Wall to create a foothold before applying stretch waterproofing CT-14

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Packing: Set of 2 kg (Powder part 1.12 kg, liquid part 0.88 kg)
Applicable surface: Cement mortar surfaces, concrete vertical walls, water tank walls, swimming pools, basements.
Theoretical norms: Depending on construction requirements, surface and construction techniques.

Surface preparation

Clean the entire surface of cement, concrete: scrape off the mortar layer, damaged concrete, old paint layers, grease, chalk dust, mold moss.
Then wash it off.

Construction

1. Filling cracks:

• Step 1 : Open the crack (if any), clean the surface, moisten the chisel location.
• Step 2 : Mix the powder component with the liquid component, stir this mixture thoroughly to a homogeneous paste, let stand 5-10 minutes for the reaction to occur completely.
• Step 3 : Use a knife to spread the above mixture on the crack, tighten the waterproofing mixture to increase the firmness and evenness. Pay attention to evenly spread the surface, not to be missed, especially where there is the ability to absorb a lot of water. Let the waterproofing layer dry for 2 days, then apply the next layer.

2. Elastic waterproofing of roof floors, toilets, tanks, basements:

• Step 1 : Apply 1 layer of waterproofing KOVA CT-11A Plus Floor, let it dry for at least 3-4 hours before applying the next step.
• Step 2 : Use a trowel to apply KOVA CT-14 elastic waterproofing agent with a thickness of 150 – 200 µm (mix the powder component with the liquid component, stir this mixture thoroughly into a homogeneous paste, let stand 5-10 minutes. for complete reaction), allow to dry for at least 24 hours before applying the next step.

NOTE

In cases where there is a great risk of cracking, apply the glass mesh as soon as the CT-14 layer is still wet.
Use to mix until there, once the additive has been mixed, it must be used up, within 30 minutes after that time the mixture will be frozen.
Clean tools with clean water immediately after use.
