In this luxury real estate project in Shanghai, architect LWMA designed a private penthouse for the owner. The designers opened up the wall between two duplex apartments with a cross-level structure, turning two separate homes into one.

In a space of nearly 1,000 square meters, the designers created a wonderful living space to meet the needs of the family. Through the large French windows in the living room, whether it is the rolling waves of the lake, or the elegant image of the Langham Hotel - Shanghai, or the nostalgic and modern charm of Xintiandi, you can catch every scene through a wonderful view. The simple black and white furniture in the living room, such as large white shelves and black sofas, shows a quiet elegance. Among them, the design of the white shelves not only plays the role of separation, but also displays a variety of small accessories, so that the entire space is not monotonous.

Near the living room is an open kitchen in pure white tones, which looks simple and light. The open design enhances the joy of cooking in the kitchen. The master bedroom on the upper floor follows the designers' simple design philosophy, presenting an elegant and neat atmosphere.

The design of the master bathroom is truly exquisite. In the open space, direct sunlight shines on the gray marble floor through the wooden fence ceiling. The design of the bathroom exudes a rich modern style. The built-in smart toilet, showing modest luxury, is arranged in the most “hidden” position of the bathroom.
